Rick Simpson Oil is a full extract cannabis oil that can be taken oral or used topically. RSO contains THC that is already active so no decarbing or activating is needed; the RSO is simply ready to use which makes it ideal for cooking and baking. Here are some tips for baking and cooking with RSO:
1. Melt the RSO into the butter or oil you are using to cook. RSO is an oil so it will bind to the fat in butter or oil.
2. Do not bake over 215 F. Baking over this temperature will cause some of the THC to burn off causing the RSO to be less potent. Bake at a lower temperature for a longer period of time.
3. You can use 1-2 drops sunflower lecithin as an emulsifier. This can cause you to feel the THC quicker.
4. Be aware of how much RSO you are adding. If you are baking brownies and you use 100mg of RSO and you cut them into 9 pieces, you will have about 11mg of RSO in each.
5. Wait a few hours before eating more. Sometimes your body can take a few hours to process the edible. Do not take more until you feel the effects of the first dose. If you eat another too quickly, you may feel too high in a few hours.
