Chemdog is a famous hybrid created in the 1990s. It is known for its euphoric and creative effects.
A man named Chemdog (Greg) met a guy named Mike (Pbud) at a Grateful Dead concert in Indiana. Chemdog bought some cannabis from Pbud and noticed it was the prettiest bud he has ever seen.
Years later, Chemdog reached out to Pbud to send him some of that amazing bud. Pbud mailed a $500 ounce to Chemdog in Massachusetts. In the ounce there were 13 seeds, and 3 of those became the Chemdog phenotypes: Chem 91, Chem D, and Chem's Sister. Years later, Chemdog sent some of the original seeds back to Pbud and he created Chem 4.
The strain that Pbud originally grew was called "Dog Bud" because the strain would make you roll over like a dog. The strain tasted gassy and "chemmy." And thus the name Chemdog was born.
Since its creation, Chemdog has been used in many popular strains such as Stardawg, Sour Diesel and GMO Cookies.
